WHO WE ARE

Bidyanondo Foundation is a voluntary organization. Lear with fun; the name Bidyanondo was created from this motto. With the slogan "Read, Play, Learn", Bidyanondo's activities started on December 22, 2013, in the remote village of Narayanganj. After starting free education programs for underprivileged children, in the following years, Bidyanondo Foundation began spreading stories of inspiration in the country and abroad through activities and new projects in different parts of the country. We have over dozen programs for disadvantaged people who are backward in society. Through these creative initiatives and diverse projects, the organization has already gained a reputation in the country and abroad. Our mission is to build a merit-based organization dedicated to the welfare of the underprivileged that will inspire everyone.

Mission

Our mission is to help both the materially poor and the poor in spirit.The materially poor are served by local school, clergy and lay leaders who have been empowered and supplied with goods by Food For The Poor.The poor in spirit are renewed by their relationship with and service to the poor through our direct our team of teaching, encouragement and prayer.Ultimately, we seek to bring both benefactors and recipients to a closer union with our Lord.

Vision

Food For The Poor is God's instrument to help the materially poor and to renew the poor in spirit.Our team is a reflection of our unconditional love - a love that surrenders all, that inspires trust and faith, and that embraces all people, regardless of race, status or creed.For guidance and to maintain the purity of our mission, we stress the need for regular prayer.Through surrender, service and prayer, we seek a closer union with our Lord.

Our Story

Since 2016, Ek Taka Ahar Connection has assisted food service companies with the development and implementation of Harvest Programs designed to provide an alternative to discarding surplus food.We have coordinated the donation of over 1 million dollar of quality prepared food from food service providers located in Bangladesh.Our team members have experience with major restaurant dhaka and retailers in operations and food quality. Our entire full time staff of 26 team members is certified in food safety.
